Toddlers (All Day)

In our TODDLER PROGRAM the young child expands his world. The little toddler relies upon a familiar rhythm or routine to feel safe and confident as he or she moves through the day. We provide a comfortable rhythm that matches the toddlers’ needs. Toddlers are sensitive to and depend upon order in their day and in their world. Our carefully prepared environment enables the toddler to freely explore the classroom and feel at ease with a comfortable amount of stimulation and a pace that is constant. Through modeling, interacting and observing the teacher can recognize the child’s needs and tendencies and provide for personalized attention and the development of interests. Teachers encourage children to name everything and begin to use language to express themselves! Toddlers love repetition and are fascinated by nature and little details that comprise our world. The running water of a faucet or an ant on the pavement provides great interest and enthusiasm for the toddler. Sharing in the discovery of many little daily miracles and moments of complete wonder make the toddler’s day a source of joy.
