On January 24, 2025 Greenbrook Montessori School hosted our annual Snow Ball Event.

The event featured a DJ, photo booth, face painting and tattoos. Students and parents enjoyed cake & ice cream!  It was a magical night filled with laughter, dancing and fun activities for everyone.

The Snow Ball Event is one of our most anticipated events of the year as it brings together our school community in a fun and festive setting.

◊◊ ◊ ◊ Respect

Both people and property have value. We choose to value people by treating them with care and gentleness. Kind words and patience teach your child to trust your instructions. Choosing to care for property in a manner that preserves its value sends a consistent message of respect to your child.

◊◊ ◊ ◊ A Prepared Environment

Preparing the home environment allows us to show respect for your child and her property. Attention to child sized furnishings and easy to wear clothing help your child to be as independent as possible, while ensuring success in their endeavors.

◊◊ ◊ ◊ Independence

The skills of independence are acquired through persistent effort and patience. Your child can do much for herself if we are able to allow it. Include her in the tasks of daily life; putting plates on the table, folding towels or getting dressed. Small accomplishments encourage the child to tackle ever larger tasks. We must believe our children are capable before they can believe it themselves.

◊◊ ◊ ◊ Success

Success is vital to your child’s willingness to stretch and grow. It keeps him reaching out for new challenges and teaches him to believe in himself. When you trust your child for even the smallest task, your child begins to trust himself.

It was a great place for our daughters and we would have never left except we moved to a different suburb. Our teachers were excellent and they have fun family outings like the Valentines Day dance. We miss BGMS but we will always be part of the family and recommend them for any parents looking for daycare options in the area.

to be life-long learners. Whether or not you are new at parenting, the educators at Buffalo Grove Montessori School provide invaluable parent mentorship. We are so grateful that our children attended BGMS.

My oldest will often tell me to come back later when it’s time to go home. The program and teachers are one of a kind.

Casey

He even asks me to pick him up later so he can enjoy the outside playground. The teachers are wonderful and our family loves the Montessori approach to learning.
